Zelda BotW Cosplay Progress

In 2017, I bought a Breath of The Wild cosplay off my friend. Though I wanted to revise it to look more accurate to her in-game model. She and I worked together on changing it and was nice enough to teach me how to make new sleeves.

The belt and shoes were done by me, however.

I used the original belt that was sold to me as a template for the new one. Using some craft foam and pleather for the new one, I traced over and cut them in accordance with the original one's size. For the pattern, to make it stand out, I used 3D "puffy" paint to add dimension to it. After I was done, I put the pleather over the finished design, glued it, and put velcroed it.

For the shoes, I got some regular plain boots off amazon and used some sturdy silver fabric to cover the tip and top of the boots. I then used the original belt's triforce design to copy to a small circle of craft foam. From there, I traced it over the fabric and hot glued it all together. The painting portion is pretty self explanatory - I used some tape to cover the edges of the area I wanted to paint. To seal it and give it an "official" look, I used painted over it with two coats of mod podge.
