My digital arts project. It's a sequel to my first pandemic inspired piece, "On Pause".

This one is a bit more pessimistic. Whereas the other one represented hope and having control, this one represents the unknown and losing control.

There's a play button here instead of a pause button because I don't know when I'll be able to return to Japan and resume my goals. I've begun to get restless again because of this lack of knowing and not knowing what steps to take.

In the hands are some of the best memories I have from my time in Japan, but they're slipping out of my control. What was once mine is no longer mine, and I wish I knew how and when I can get it all back. In the background is Fushimi Inari, my very first shrine and arguably the best day of my life.
