ACADEMIC: Portraits with Studio Lighting

Original statement:

In this lab, we were to try five different lighting techniques in order to enhance our understandings of our cameras. To do this, classmates went up one by one to have their photos taken. Trying to get the right angle was the most challenging, as we’re unfamiliar with making use of studio light. However, most of the photos came out excellent and enhanced our understandings of studio lighting.

Arthurgwain Marquez came in to present and share his knowledge of lighting and his introduction to photography in the military. He actively changed the lighting and used us as subjects to demonstrate the effectiveness of the environmental changes. Similar to the studio activity itself, we took pictures of each other.
